I. Install the mounting brackets in the appropriate location.

A. 600 – 1200: Visor mount, rear deck mount, outside behind the grill, inside the trunk lid or any other location as designated by the customer and approved by installer or manufacturer.
B. 2400 – 3000: Rear deck, top of rear window are generally the most common places for mounting these lights.

II. Suggested wiring of your Eluminator:

A. Rear deck or window installation.
1. The 15 foot cord provided with the Eluminator should be run on the right hand (passenger) side of the car from the rear to front control console.
2. Install wire under carpet on right (Passenger) side near front door molding.
3. If cigarette plug provided, plug into available socket.
a) The Eluminator will run for 6-8 hours with the car off without draining the battery beyond the charge needed to restart the car.
4. If your Eluminator is to be hardwired please note.
WHITE WIRE IS POSITIVE +
BLACK WIRE IS NEGATIVE –

5. If the Eluminator is to be controlled by a switch in the console, the following must be present:
a) 5 position switch with an off position and 4 on positions.
b) Wiring is as follows:
1) Orange wire - both outside segments flash.
2) Blue wire - Driver to passenger arrow
3) Red wire - Passenger to driver arrow
4) Orange wire tied to Blue wire - Center out arrow
5) Black wire - ground

PLEASE NOTE: It is our recommendation that the rear deck mount installation use ¼” carriage bolts and fender washers.

III. INSTALLATION OF MOUNTS:

A. Visor Mounts:
1. Install visor mounts provided with your Eluminator using the thumbscrew enclosed.
2. Make sure the Eluminator is tightened in the bracket.
3. Run the wire provided with the Eluminator under the headliner toward the passenger side of the vehicle.
4. Run the wire down the side molding and install the cigarette plug in an available socket.
5. If the 600 or 1200 is to be hard wired – use the same instructions for running the wire and attach to the car electrical system as follows:
BLACK WIRE = NEGATIVE OR GROUND
WHITE WIRE = POSITIVE (12 VOLT +).

6. If the 600 or 1200 is to be hard wired to an existing switch in the console, a 3-position switch must be present:
RED WIRE - ALL FLASHING
BLUE WIRE – WIG WAG
BLACK WIRE – GROUND

b. Grill Mount:

1. Professional installation is suggested for grill mounting of the Eluminator because the 15 foot wire must be run through the firewall of the vehicle.
